The Joe Cocker Connection partners with PDH Bookings.

I am thrilled to announce that I entered a partnership with Peter den Haan from PDH Bookings. I have granted Peter the exclusive rights for bookings in the Netherlands. This collaboration marks a significant step forward for the band, as PDH bookings is known for delivering outstanding live music performances. Check the PDH website.  With this partnership, I'm aiming to create more opportunities to play gigs across the Netherlands. For some inexplicable reason, bookings in the Netherlands were not going as smoothly as we wanted. We had some gigs now and then, but not as we expected. So that was something I couldn't ignore. I decided to set up a promotional campaign, targeting primarily Dutch artist agencies .

Online Visibility

In today's digital age, having online visibility is crucial for a band. The internet provides a whole lot of platforms where people from all over the world can discover your band. And that makes it essential to establish a strong online presence. In today's day and age, bands can connect with fans from different parts of the world. Due to the uncertainties regarding the continued existence of the band, I was forced to put all current affairs on hold. Including the website and the domain. Something I had planned to do anyway because the costs ,of that specific provider, were simply becoming too expensive. So now I'm working hard to optimize the new website and its online visibility, and create new booking options.

Working on the new 2025 tribute show

At the moment, we are working on a new tribute show for 2025, and adding some new songs to the set. I've been asked so many times how such a process actually works. So I decided to write a blogpost about it.  As a Joe Cocker tribute band, the task of creating an amazing setlist is thrilling. On the other hand, it can also be very challenging. Joe's discography is filled with so many great hits and iconic songs, that it makes the selection process always very difficult. In this selection process, I always have to take some factors into account. For example, how these new songs are going to resonate with the audience. Or better, how I think they're going to resonate. Because it's always a little bit of a prediction I have to make, based on my own experience on a live stage.
